Boho Chic
One-day workshop
Level: intermediate
Technique: Peyote and Netting stitches
Ethos of the 1960s shine in this vintage piece. Vintage German glass cabs as well as vintage ethnic style distressed and patinaed metal pieces adorn the fringe creating a slight little tinkle as you wear it. Attach the Cab with a minimalist amount of unique beading and attached through the drilled 11mm offset hole. The lower layer of fringe is made with the three strands of tubular netting ‘starts’ creating a strand of little stars. The upper layer fringe are simple strands while the rope is a lightly sculptural tubular netting.
Bouquet
One-day workshop
Level: intermediate
Technique: peyote stitch
Receiving a bouquet of cascading flowers is delightful and fun. Something that expresses affection for the recipient. My impressionistic rings look like little flowers. The techniques used are circular peyote with Pinch-in-the-Ditch. Pinch-in-the-Ditch is a sister-stitch to Stitch-in-the-Ditch. Stitch-in-the-Ditch makes a 90-degree angle off the beadwork, while Pinch-in-the-Ditch makes a 45-degree angle. The rope are loops of varying counts using 4mm pearls.

Paragon
Half or one-day workshop
Level: intermediate
Technique: Peyote stitch
Paragon bracelet is a simple and elegant design that makes a fashion statement with a Levi jacket or little black dress. Innovative bezeling for both round and oval crystals allow for maximized shine. The peyote stitch technique lend itself to tight structuring in bezeling and clasp attachment.
Santa Fe
One-day workshop
Level: intermediate / Advanced
Technique: Peyote stitch and Cain’s Chain (a netting variation)
The southwest inspired Santa Fe necklace, while simple appearing is more technically advanced with a rope variation, I call Cain’s Chain. It is an asymmetrical, two-step, spiraling netting variation. I have updated it and added a structural peyote three-tiered open pendant at the bottom. Firepolish beads grace the rope and add swing at the bottom of the pendant.
